As a native Detroiter, Sherry Butler-Brown has lived a life of service in the Metro Detroit area that directly relates to her becoming a Realtor at Robinson Realty & Management Group. In her past, she has gained an Associate of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice from Wayne County Community College. Her education has directly prepared her in working in Law Enforcement, serving the Detroit Police Department for close to thirty years, later retiring from the department with valuable experience and awards. Her training and service there developed her analytical and decision-making skills, ability to initiate action, and readiness in any situation.
In the community, Sherry has been a participant and served as past President of the Von Steuben Community Council Neighborhood Organization and was part of the institution of a community Food Bank, in aiding Metro Detroiters with Food by sponsorship from Gleaners. She was also a key member of the Friends with Food Ministry at St. Paul AME Church feeding Metro Detroiters.
In the religious community, Sherry has been a member of St. Paul AME Church for many years, serving in various capacities as a worshipper and a dedicated long-standing member of the Steward Board. She has worked with the youth ministries and has worked for the Annual Women’s Day events.
As a Realtor, Sherry’s experiences and knowledge of the Metro Detroit area directly benefits her services in providing a knowledgeable insight to all things Detroit and a unique experience for all of her clients. Sherry takes pride in her city and is delighted to serve those both near and far.
